Sarah O’Connor is Patron of Lucan Festival 2010

We are delighted that Sarah has agreed to be the Patron of Lucan Festival 2010. Sarah is currently taking part in Fame The Musical – Ireland’s largest ever musical theatre search to find the characters of Nick and Serena for the musical version of the renowned movie and TV Series, Fame.

Sarah, a local girl, attended St Joesph’s College. For the past year and a half  Sarah has been living in the UK  and is in her second year studying musical theatre at Collins Performing Arts in Essex.

Sarah has always loved musical theatre and became involved in it when she was just 7 years old after her mum saw an ad for a stage school in a local newspaper. She says she never looked back and that she ‘eats, sleeps and breathes’ musical theatre. Sarah is also a former member of local Westside Stage School who are very proud of her performance in Fame the Musical.

Sarah is also a violinist and has toured Ireland, Scotland, France and Wales with the Dublin Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ireland.

Wishing her the best of luck in the series, watch Fame the Musical on RTE1 at 6.30 on Sunday evening.

Please Support Sarah by texting  Fame 6 to 53125 following the show.
