Niamh Bagnell writes poetry and fiction and hosts a weekly writing-based show on Liffey Sound radio, called “The Sunday Scrapbook” and likes to read her poetry out wherever she gets a chance. She blogs at http://variouscushions.blogspot.com
Alma Brayden is a Dublin poet and visual artist and a member of Dalkey Writers Workshop. She has been published in many anthologies and magazines and has broadcast on radio. Her first collection ‘Prism’ was published by Seven Towers in 2010.
Steve Conway is a bestselling writer and broadcaster and is currently a DJ on Phantom 105.2FM. Formerly DJ on Radio Caroline he has detailed that experience in his book ’Shiprocked’, published by Liberties Press, 2009.
Ross Hattaway is a New Zealand-born Irish poet. His first collection ‘The Gentle Art of Rotting’ was published by Seven Towers in 2006 and he is currently working on his second to be published in 2011. Ross’ work has been widely published and he has read at several venues abroad.
Eamonn Lynskey lives in Lucan. His first collection, ‘Despatches & Recollections’ was published by Lapwing (Belfast) in 1998, and his second, ‘And Suddenly the Sun Again’, by Seven Towers Ltd., (Dublin) in 2010. More about Eamonn at http://tvivf.wordpress.com
David Mohan writes short stories and poetry and is based in Lucan. He won the Hennessy New Irish Writer Award for 2008.
Louise Phillips writes short stories and poetry. In 2009 her story ‘Last Kiss’ won the Jonathon Swift Award. She was short listed for the Molly Keane Memorial Award and in 2008 her story ‘The Beads’ was one of the winning entries in the National Group Writers Award. Currently working on her second novel.
Raven is a poet, activist and performance artist from San Francisco, California, now based in Dublin. Performs regularly at the Electric Picnic, as well as in Wales and England and hosts the monthly (last Tuesdays) spoken word showcase ‘Tongue Box‘, at the Cobblestone in Smithfield Dublin (all welcome). In the past year he has been incorporating live music and soundscapes into his work, and a book and CD are in the works.
Oran Ryan is a novelist, poet, playwright and screen writer from Dublin who has been writing full-time for 10 years during which time he has completed a number of novels, of which ‘The Death of Finn’ was the first to be published, followed by ‘Ten
Short Novels by Arthur Kruger’. He was awarded an Arts Council Bursary in 2008. He is presently completing a novel called ‘One-Inch Punch‘.
Tríona Walsh won Jonathan Swift Award in 2008 and is a member of the very successful Lucan Writers Group. Tríona enjoys writing short stories and poetry. She is now working on her first novel.
